My name is Scot Michael and I have over 20 years experience in the Music and Film-Post Production industry. I have recorded, mixed and mastered hundreds if not thousands of songs and albums for artists all over the globe. I've also mixed and edited for post-production on a number of Films and TV shows such as the Emmy Nominated TV Show "Out and Back with Alison Mariella Désir". I grew up in St. Louis Missouri and was always surrounded by music, mostly from my father's side. It eventually pushed me into seeking others who played music, and so I've always enjoyed collaborating musically with others. My interest in recording came from a cousin of mine who had an amazing music collection and took me to my first concert, and even my first recording studio, when I was just a kid. Ever since I became fascinated with the world of music and recording. Eventually I decided I wanted to pursue it as a career. In 2002 I earned my degree from Full Sail's Audio Engineering program in Orlando, Florida.  After graduating, I then moved on to work at a variety of established studios in different parts of the country before winding up in Washington State, where I started Titan Recording Studio. Titan started back in 2004 in Bellingham Washington while I was working at Binary Recording Studio for Bob Ridgley. One year later I officially opened Titan Recording Studio in Seattle.

When I'm not working on music with my clientele, I'm working on my own music. I play in quite a few bands and projects and have been doing so since making my way to the Pacific Northwest. My motto has always been, "I'd rather make someone famous, than work with someone famous". Like any musician or engineer I just want to make great art, music or film, and participate in anything to do with the audio industry. I've always enjoyed collaborating with others more than creating on my own, and I wish to continue doing that as long as possible. I enjoy meeting new people and local artists who strive to make their projects sound as good as it possibly can. For me, there is nothing better than helping someone make their concept a reality. I just want to be able to continue doing what I love and helping others do what they love. I enjoy every type of genre of music or film, and am experienced in recording a wide variety of styles. Sometimes the more obscure, the better. I sincerely hope you decide to come check out what I am doing here. Please listen to some audio samples, view some pictures of the space, and feel free to contact me anytime by phone or email to ask questions or discuss your project. And, a tour of the studio is always free. Most of my advertising is word of mouth so I appreciate inclusion of my logo or credentials in any project that I am a part of.
